The Yucaipa Valley AVA Petition

  • The Yucaipa Valley is located some 70 miles directly east of Los Angeles. It is considered a prime growing region based upon it’s high elevation, large temperature swings, seasonal snowfall, and more.

  • The Yucaipa Valley AVA Petition was originally filed on November 15th, 2018 by YVWA President Craig Suveg and Veraison Partners founder Devin Cohen. After months of revisions, the AVA Petition was accepted as perfected on June 21st 2019, and is awaiting publication in the Federal Register.
